Ann,Chris John and team do an amazing job running the shop and post office. The addition of the covered extension is a god send especially on a rainy day. They are always cheery and helpful and for such a small shop they stock just about everything you could want. It's always a pleasure to shop there and the coffee is excellent. It's lovely that they know all their regular customers by name and are fully involved with the local community. I think we are very lucky customers. Many thanks Elaine x

You simply cannot beat our delighted owners of our Village Shop - otherwise known as 'The Purveyors of the Pies'. David and Carol always have a welcoming smile (and far too many fabulous freshly baked pork pies, sausage rolls, cakes and fresh bread - utterly delicious if a tad naughty for us trying to diet!!) They also stock good quality bacon and sausages from the local butchers in Masham and eggs come free range from a local farm. The vast variety of stock is outstanding for a small shop and the quality is good - Heinz, Twinings, Kellogs - no Rola Cola here Peter Kay would be glad to hear! Also a good selection of wines on offer. Just a couple of things I had thought I wouldn't get at the Village Shop and was proved wrong - fabric plasters, hair bands, Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc!!! To put a tin hat on this exceptional Village Shop - Carol runs The Post Office to boot! Thank you David and Carol you do a sterling job and I, for one, am very grateful to you both.

Ann and the team are not only eager to serve, their warm welcome and continued enhancements to the shop mean that WTVS has gone from strength to strength. It ticks many boxes with fresh produce, a wide range of groceries, cakes, tea and coffee etc.

Love it . Staff lovely helpful. It's a village store does what it says. Like it very much. It also is a post office. Check times. Very useful resource .
