Absolutely beautiful place to stay, rooms are very clean. Staff are all friendly. Breakfast was always lovely and the chef was so polite and friendly. Location is perfect only a 5 minute walk away from the train station and town center . I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Can't wait to come back in August and stay again.

Wonderful meal at Railway today! Starters were beautiful and the Roast Beef was amazing. Medium, soft and tender, great sides of roasties, mash, Yorkshire puddings, carrot and swede mash, cabbage, mange tout and carrots. All seasoned perfectly. So much food for a great price. The kids meals are great value and good quality also. Looking forward to our return trip and would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights the rooms were comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We had a evening meal for 6 people it was so tasty and the food was hot. The staff were friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend the Railway inn.

Real proper pies! Steak pie was 10/10 and the gravy was rich and thick. Definitely gonna come back again for another slice! Dog friendly too.

We had booked 3 rooms to stay overnight after a family funeral and the Railway was just what we wanted. It was a couple of minutes away from a large car park near the canal which allowed overnight parking . And a few minutes walk from the centre of Skipton with all its shops and market . | The en-suite rooms were all clean , warm and quiet. The breakfast ( served between 8-9) had several choices available . Although we did not eat in the Railway on the evening, the menu looked very appetising, and there is a separate friendly bar area for those who just want a drink.Apparently ownership has just changed . The staff are all friendly Would we stay here again?- Certainly , ...and next time try an evening meal .
