Food is poor. Lettuce was brown. Chips were powdery (oven Chips perhaps). It will be a long time before we eat at the cafe again, if ever. The garden centre is lovely and staff are nice but the cafe really let's them down.

Great garden centre. Lovely at Christmas time when they have singing reindeer and the piano set up. The food is nice from the cafe - especially the carvery. There is a little soft play inside the café too which is great entertainment for under 5's. Really good selection of plants and reasonably priced also. Easy to get to - straight off the motorway. There is an aquatic centre on site also, and there are some big fish (possibly koi carp) inside. Always a hit with my little boy.

My wife loves coming here and could spend hours looking around. She bought a few plants this time and went to the very nice cafe to collect a "Too good to go". I had a look around the outdoor clothing section but in my opinion the rest of the place is full of what I would call "Tat". Overpriced rubbish! Pretty much the same as every other garden centre I've been in recently!

Well laid out garden centre. Has a nice cafe. The selection of outdoor plants is reasonable, there are some offers on at the moment. The houseplant selection was a little disappointing, they have the usual suspects but would be nice to see some more unusual specimens. The selection of garden furniture, tools and seeds was good although on the pricy side. As was the compost. Large car park so easy to get in and out.

This place has the full range of outdoor plants, indoor plants, gardening tools and fixtures, anything you can imagine that's related to gardening really. Surprisingly it also has a great range of books and toys, clothing and unique food and drink. The aquatic area has a vast range of fish for sale, some that I've never seen before. It's worth a visit just to look at the different fish in the aquariums. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The restaurant was closed due to covid restrictions, but there is a takeaway van outside. Loved this place.

Recently took my Grandson to the Play Centre located in the cafe area. The cafe was understaffed and I had to wait over 5 minutes to be served even though I was the only one waiting at the counter. The glass displays looked grubby and were covered in finger prints and had clearly not been cleaned in some time. The play area itself was appalling. Absolutely filthy. The soft play mats look like they haven’t seen a mop since they were put down and the area around the play frame is full of dirt and dust. The floor was covered in food and the tables were full of used crockery and utensils. Not somewhere I would choose to eat. We stayed for a cup of tea then took my Grandson home for a much needed bath. You need to up your game Carr Gate and get out the mop and bucket

Lots of bushes, plants, and general garden stuff. Can be quite busy on occasion, but overall, it is a pleasant experience. They have lots of fish for sale. Not just the boring freshwater kind, but marine fish and corals. Also, tons of fishy accessories. I think they might sell food in there, but I wouldn't know for sure because I've never made it beyond the fish section. Staff seem nice enough considering all the customers probably stress them out.
